From the Papers presented in the conference, selection will be made by the Scientific panel for publication in the following journals, and the same will be informed to you within 60 days.
Best Paper Award
The Conference Chair and the Advisory Committee will select and nominate the best papers submitted to the conference for the Best Paper Award. These papers will be evaluated on originality of ideas, significance of research findings, author contribution, and implementation of results.
Best Student Paper Award
The Conference Chair and the Advisory Committee will select and nominate the best papers submitted to the conference for the Best Student Paper Award. These papers will be evaluated on originality of ideas, significance of research findings, author contribution, and implementation of results.?Students will be required to submit a letter, along with their paper submission, from their department indicating that they are a full time student at the University.
WOMAN IN BIOSCIENCE ENGINEERING AWARD
This award will be chosen on merit of her scientific excellence. This award is given to female scientists to combine work with family life and reach the highest echelons of science. The theme of the
2008 awards is "Woman in Bioengineering" and the person was selected through nominations by a network of the international scientific community. The Awards Ceremony will take place on 14th March 2009, at SSN College of Engineering.
The award winner will be required to give a Special Lecture at the meeting.

One page summary addressing the significance of the work to the society
List of publications in Bioengineering
Short biosketch (2 pages) of the nominee
Applications will be evaluated by a conference committee. Applications should be submitted in form of a single PDF attachment.
